We are incredibly proud to recognize our caregiver, Belkys Brito Santos, for her HEROIC actions that saved lives!

On 12/17/25, when a kitchen fire broke out at her client's home, Belkys didn't hesitate. She immediately pulled her client to safety through the bedroom window as flames engulfed the kitchen.

Thanks to Belkys's quick thinking and brave actions:
✅ Her client, the client's daughter, and 2 children all escaped safely
✅ EMTs and a hospice nurse confirmed the client was stable
✅ Belkys stayed with her client until the family arrived

Our Clinical Manager, Damaris Santiago-Martinez, RN, said it best: "Belkys saved her client's life." This is what TRUE dedication looks like. Belkys embodies the heart and courage that make Etairos Health caregivers extraordinary.
